Michele Nigro was born in Vittoria (Sicily) in 1975.
He grew up surrounded by art and was late taught by Prof. Rosario Biscari, a true master, who guides him in this personal artistic journey. Since he was a boy he has shown an aptitude for art and the need to express his rich interiority of images and colour. Engaged in artistic representation, he often implements the technique of chiaroscuro.(NOT TRUE!?!)
He is a steady part of the local artistic scene and in 2008 he was one of the pioneers of the revitalization of the historic centre of Vittoria, setting up his own artistic workshops, first in Via Cavour and later in Via Marsala. Today he continues to give the city and the public works characterized by multifaceted elements. Many exhibitions have been held in the Ragusa area and Nigro participated in the Sala GIO.I.A of Nova Milanese (MB), in the exhibition “The art tells about migration”, a series of works dedicated to the delicate migration phenomenon.
